Statues and charter were awarded at the International Tourism Fair Winter, Events & Spa Travel Market in Belgrade on October 16th, 2017 at the celebration of the 23rd anniversary of the "Tourist Prism 2018".
- The Tourist Prism editorial office has been carrying over the project “For a new quality in tourism" for over 20 years. From the very beginning, the idea has been to raise the level of tourist services and stimulate innovative entrepreneurship in this area. With the help from the jury, our colleagues from other countries who cover tourism in the countries where the project takes place, we have always tried to reward those who really deserve it - the organizers of this event say.
The members of the international jury of journalists were: Svetlana Zrilić - RTS, Jelica Putniković - “Balkan magazin”, Slavko Jovanović - President of FIJET Serbia, Kamenko Milenković - Vojvodina TV (series "The Centre of the World"), Slađana Jašarević (BIH) - BN Television, Dario Novalić (BIH) - "Start" magazine and portal BIH Travel, Sanja Golubović - "Caffe Montenegro" magazine (Montenegro), Drago Bulc - president of Slovenia Tourist Journalists’ Association, Oliver Branković - Macedonian TV (Skopje), Tina Čubrilo-Eterović – president of FIJET Croatia, Karin Mimica - "Gastronaut" (Croatia) and Đorđe Mihajlović - "Tourist Prism" and president of the jury.
This year, the "For a new quality in tourism" jury decided to award only ten contenders, which best describes the very strict selection and the intent to maintain the high standards of competition.
